We're a Cooperative and that means we operate under certain principles. We are not governed by an individual, family, or majority shareholders with massive amounts of equity invested to squeeze the smaller guys or girls out. We're governed by our members! Offering memberships allows us to crowdsource the capital we need to best support our members' adventures and in exchange we offer each member equal say in who manages the organization and the directions we choose to go in.
If your mind isn't already blown, brace yourself... We also offer our members annual dividends relative to a percentage of their patronage with the cooperative! We don't profit off of our members, we give it back to them. When that isn't enough, we also give to causes and nonprofit organizations which our members choose. Minus operating expenses, we give whatever we can back to our members and the charities they believe in.
